Tiziana Federico
My teaching technique stems from a targeted approach and a personalized method suited to the needs of each individual student.
This technique proves to be effective for fast learning and long-lasting memorization, hence allowing students with zero knowledge of the Italian language to be able to communicate fluently and correctly in the space of 3 months with 5 hours of lessons per week.
Three Programs
I offer 3 different learning programs for different levels and goals.
- The introduction to Italian Language
- The fluent and correct basic communication
- Advanced communication for intermediate and level B1-C2
In conducting my lessons, I make use of interactive, efficient and cutting-edge digital teaching tools and materials, which allows to learn quickly and accurately.
Students are required to be an active part in finding solutions to solve various drills by correcting, completing, comparing grammar elements. They voluntarily strive to find the right answer, hence being inducted to work out the grammar structure and rules.
This process imprints the acquired knowledge in their memory.

The main features of the course are:

Students Come First
In my classes, students have an active role and are the centre of attention. They learn through the exploration of acquired knowledge, using verbal, visual and audio stimuli. My role is therefore limited to teaching them how to learn a language.
Motivation is the driving factor to encourage inhibited communication.
Motivation can be given by crating interest and eagerness to communicate.
This driven point can be achieved through casual conversation; it is imperative though to touch the students’ points of interest. The aim is to create the indispensable initial motivation through various techniques of reflection and emotional involvement, activation of foreknowledge, pre-listening and listening by pre-introducing a topic.
This attempt to understand the context leads to a global understanding of the new grammar elements.
This is a modern a modern Italian course for foreigners, aimed at adult students of all ages and young adults and covers all levels of the Common European Framework.
